FAQ

How do I place my order?
1)  Simply fill out the form online!  This is the most convenient method.  If you received a quote include that number when prompted.
2)  Call us at 1-800-621-0878

3)  Print the order from and send via fax or mail.

How far in advance should I schedule my transport?
We recommend that you schedule your move as soon as possible to insure that your car is moved within the time frame that you desire.  Usually we are able to have a truck assigned and on its way to pick up your vehicle 1-7 days after your order is placed depending on the route.

How much will it cost to ship my vehicle?
Our quote forms were created to ask the right questions which pertain to your move so we can accurately price your transport.  Pricing your transport is determined by origin, destination, vehicle size, and the type of carrier desired.  Beware of companies that quote a very low price compared to other companies.  If it sounds too good to be true then it is!

What is the difference between an open and enclosed carrier?
Open carriers are the ones you usually see on the road. Vehicles transported on open carriers are exposed to weather conditions and other acts of nature. Enclosed carriers protect against weather conditions and road debris.  We recommend enclosed carriers for exotic or custom vehicles.

How do I pay for services?
When you complete the form online you can pay through PayPal whether you have a PayPal account or not or via phone.  We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.  Only your deposit is due at the time of order placement unless otherwise approved with a member of Above All Auto Transport.  Your deposit is REFUNDABLE if you cancel your order before your car is assigned to a carrier.  The remainder due for the transport must be given to the driver at the destination in cash or a cashier's check.

Is Above All Auto Transport, LLC Licensed and Bonded?

YES.  The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration licenses Above All Auto Transport, LLC.  We hold Motor Carrier authority under MC623315.

Do I have to be present at time of pickup and delivery?
No, you do not have to be present at both pickup and delivery.  If you are not available to release your vehicle to the driver, we suggest leaving the vehicle and keys with a friend or neighbor.  They may sign the paperwork with the driver.  This is usually done when customers will not be in town during pickup.  The same procedure may be done at delivery if the customer will not be in town to accept the vehicle at delivery.

What happens after I place the order?

An email confirmation will be sent to you if an email address is provided with details of your order.  Once we receive your order we will schedule your vehicle for pick up using the pick up dates you provide.  You will be notified approximately 12-24 hours in advance to establish a more accurate estimated time of arrival for pickup.  When the driver picks up your vehicle he will perform a detailed inspection of your vehicle on a Bill of Lading. Both the person releasing the vehicle and the driver will sign the Bill of Lading. You will retain a copy as well as the driver.  The same Bill of Lading will be present upon delivery so that the vehicle(s) can be re-inspected before release.

Where will my vehicle be picked up and delivered?

Our service is Door-to-Door!  The vehicle(s) will be picked up at the exact address specified or as close to the address given as possible. In some cases we ask that you meet the driver at a mutually convenient location such as a store parking lot.  Some areas are too tight for trucks to maneuver through and we also do not want to risk vehicles being scratched due to tree branches or by other means.

How do I keep track of my vehicle during transit?
Visit our "Track" page, email us, or call us to find out the status of your vehicle(s).  We will respond ASAP with your status.

Can I pack things in my vehicle?

We suggest that you do not pack anything in your vehicle.  Personal items may shift around in the trunk or interior and become damaged or damage the vehicle. Stored items may cause a weight problem with your vehicle and create difficulties with loading and unloading, and possible undercarriage damage to your vehicle. Any items left in the vehicle are totally at the owner's personal risk and are not insured.  If you choose to transport personal items in your vehicle these items should be confined to the trunk area. We do not recommend packing breakable items or items of great monetary or sentimental value.  Under NO circumstances can the vehicle contain contraband, firearms, hazardous materials, or illegal substances.

Are pickup and delivery dates guaranteed?

We do our absolute best to pickup on your requested pick up dates and usually succeed in doing so, however, there are rare occasions where a delay out of our control may occur.  Delivery dates are estimates as we cannot control bad weather conditions or a driver experiencing a flat tire, etc that may cause a delay.

Should I take off of work to release or accept my vehicle?
During the entire shipping process we try to keep the customer well informed.  We instruct drivers to call the customer 12 to 24 hours in advance of pick up or delivery to establish a more accurate estimated time of arrival and to work out specific directions. We ask that you make yourself as available as possible but ask that you do not take off work or hang around your home until you speak with the driver.
